I've been boarding at PCF for around 8 years and working at the farm for 4 years. My favorite thing about farm are the wide open pastures and how quiet it can be especially early morning or in the evening. Very peaceful.
A fun fact about me is I grew up with parents who rode horses. My dad is from a cattle ranch and my mom showed saddle seat, dressage and jumping.
My Thoroughbred gelding, Zephyr, was born on St Patrick's Day 14 years ago. He loves people, treats and kisses on his nose!

This is the best place for horses and humans! The community is awesome, the horses are wonderful, and the farm is beautiful! My roll at the farm is to help with horse care and management. I am also a Licensed 2-Star Parelli Natural Horsemanship instructor and support many of the boarders with their horsemanship goals. A fun fact about me is that I boarded my horses here back in 2005 before I left for college. My horses at that time were the first hooves at Patterson Creek Farm. I then left WA for 12 years and when I returned to the state moved back to this same farm where it all started!
My horse is a 13 year old Thoroughbred mare called Aspen. Together we've lived in 3 states and traveled through several more, participated in 16 weeks of courses at the Parelli ranch in Pagosa Springs, CO, performed in various public demonstrations, and been filmed for several of Parelli's educational DVDs.

My favorite things about the farm are that all of my stresses and yucky energy drip right off of me when I'm at the gate! Once I enter the air is cleaner, crisper, and even smells better! A fun fact about me is that I am a practicing Animal Communicator. I've been doing this for several years now, and love the opportunity to have people and their animals really begin to understand each other. I love to be a part of that!
A tid-bit about my horse is that we are very new to each other! I've had Opie for only a week and a half. I've never had a horse before! He is busy teaching me all sorts of incredible lessons, and I can see already that he is an excellent communicator.
